Monika Gross

Zoom

Help us develop new jobs for AT professionals. We invite you to join our international project focused on Alexander technique for people living with Parkinson's disease and their families. Would you like to join The Poise Project's international "AT for Parkinson's" team? The Poise Project, a U.S.-based charitable organization, has been developing, among other projects, an international grassroots AT for Parkinson's project to bring Alexander technique based programs to people living with Parkinson's and their families around the world. We are offering basic training for Alexander technique teachers and trainees in this complex disease, and then working to connect them with our growing international network of neurologists, healthcare professionals, and community leaders. This basic training is meant to help AT teachers better meet the special needs of this growing population of people diagnosed with Parkinson's. This course meets on two weekends in September. There is an additional course that meets on Wednesdays in September. Go to the link for detailed information. If you have already participated in one of The Poise Project's "AT for Parkinson's'" teacher trainings, please let us know, and we will share a set of these updated training recordings and materials with you, and we hope that you will be interested in joining one of our future evidence-based replicable course curriculum trainings.
