INSPIRATION IN THE AEGEAN - June 17 - 22, 2018, Chora town, Folegandros Island, Greece. This ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE based workshop is a unique opportunity to combine travel to the Greek islands with a creative approach to how body and mind work together in movement. The class combines Alexander Technique, improvisational movement, language and imagery from ancient Greek mythology - bringing a creative, archetypal view to the transformative work of opening the body.
Tune up your body intelligently and stir your imagination with images and stories from the Ancient Greek pantheon of gods and goddesses. Pass your free time in the transcendent light of Greece -- hiking, swimming, or simply taverna-hanging alongside the Aegean sea. Stroll the whitewashed village of Chora town, Folegandros, enjoying the classic Cycladic architecture and charming town squares.
