Presenters:
Fran Rickenbach, CAE, IOM
Fran Rickenbach has served as AmSAT Senior Advisor since 2010. As an entrepreneur and owner of an association management company, she has made almost every mistake and learned from them to stay in business and remain profitable for more than three decades. Her work with AmSAT has not only helped to free her neck, but also given her insight into how AT teachers can achieve their goal of making a living teaching what they enjoy most.
Andrew Watt, SCORE mentor
Andrew Watt has volunteered with SCORE since 2017. In his professional life, he's a sole proprietor in consulting and personal coaching, and an artisan working in textiles, paper, and wood. He's also served as a high-level volunteer in Toastmasters International, the public speaking and leadership training organization. His prior background as a middle school teacher and educator of teachers informs each presentation.
Heather Turner, SCORE mentor
Heather Turner has been a Certified Small Business Mentor with SCORE since 2018, and she is the Co-chair and Event Manager for Merrimack Valley SCORE. She spent 20 years in the restaurant business cooking professionally before starting her own business in 2003 with the help of a SCORE mentor. She currently teaches marketing and social media and speaks at Associations and Conferences around the country. Heather has also been a member of Toastmasters International since 2009.
